WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The Wilmington Boat Show is set to return this year at the Cape Fear River.
The show, hosted outside the Wilmington Convention Center, brings together boat dealers and marine industry experts while showcasing an impressive lineup of boats and the newest marine gear and services.
Inside the center, the Wilmington Fishing Expo will showcase on-site fishing experts, along with casting demonstrations, rigging tutorials, and other hands-on learning activities.
Special guest Chris Douglas, producer and host of the outdoor TV series ‘Carolina ALL OUT’, will be at the event for a meet and greet.
Kids’ Fishing Clinics will offer instructions for children, who will each receive a free rod and reel to take home.
“The Wilmington Boat Show is a celebration of our boating and fishing culture,” said Jacqui MacGuiness, President of JBM & Associates. “This year’s show offers more value, more education, and more fun for the whole family.”
Free parking is available at Battleship Park for the event, along with free water ferry rides between Battleship Park and the Wilmington Convention Center throughout the weekend.
The show and expo will take place at the Wilmington Convention Center from October 10-12.
Food trucks, live music, local vendors and more will be at the event.
