MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – Two people were hurt after a crash in the Myrtle Beach area on Monday.

Horry County Fire Rescue said crews were called to the wreck just before 3:30 p.m. in the area of Fantasy Harbour Boulevard and Burcale Road.

The two people hurt were taken to a hospital, but no further details were provided on their condition.

As of around 4 p.m., drivers are being asked to avoid the area.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
